Additional Information

Formed around the carnal tuberose, this white floral is both fresh and sultry. A single spritz opens with citrus and green notes before unfolding into a light fruity melon and coconut accord, leaving an intriguing trace of musk on the wearer's skin.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Seductive and intoxicating This fragrance is a show stopper. It is undeniably sexy and I normally prefer understated fragrances, but I couldn't get past this one. Every time I wear this someone will comment on it. I am enchanted by this fragrance!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All Time Favourite I have a few perfumes from Frederic Malle however my favourite is Carnal Flower. It is a beautiful floral fragance that lingers all day and is not overpowering. Receive many compliments and like the purse size version for top ups during the day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from unforgettable A scent that encapsulates summer: fresh and heady all at once. Even those 'tuberose-phobic' appreciate the brightness and poetry of the composition. Complex without ever being unwearable or unapproachable. Quite simply, one of the most beautiful scents created in the modern era.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Carnal Flower Perfume It has the most beautiful floral refreshing smell - frequently prompting others to ask what you are wearing. I find it very hard to wear another perfume now. A little goes a long way too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Classic perfection I started my love affair with Carnal Flower one Saturday afternoon when I was browsing new fragrances at Mecca. It was love at first sniff. I coveted this perfume and couldn't stop thinking about it until I finally justified buying myself a present a few months later. As you all know by now, this is a fragrance for lovers of Tuberose. That is the main note, but there is also a green, coconutty, gardenia air about it that just transports you to a tropical paradise. It is a very grown-up perfume. It takes no prisoners and is not for the faint of heart. The lasting power is truly impressive. I have fallen in love with many perfumes over the years but this is the one that excites me every single time I put it on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simply Divine I happened to pass by the Frederic Malle display in my last vist to Mecca and thought I should definitely sniff out Carnal Flower since I had read stella reviews about this perfume. Alot of perfumes that receive rave reviews about I don't usually fall in love with because they tend to be strong, heady, powdery, chypre, old-lady type perfumes that just seem to be the kind that follow you around like a shadow that's too large. So I wasn't ready to be SO impressed by CF. Is a tuberose based fragrance with hints of eucalyptus-menthol, coconut and jasmine. At first sniff my heart beat raced literally and I found myself contemplating dropping 259 for a 50 ml bottle in that instant. But I held myself back, calmly spritzed it on my wrist and decided to talk a stroll around the other counters for half an hour or so...to clear my head so I could think rationally (I wish, because I actually bought a bottle that afternoon) and to see how CF would play down with the middle notes and all. I love my white florals having been a fan of Diptyque's Do Son but this was different. Its a very green and creamy (more so in the dry down) at the same time. A concentrated perfume that is intense yet doesn't overpower at the same time. I can take in a long big sniff of this and not find myself choking. Its got amazing sillage (one spritz is enough, and I find that CF works better for me in warmer weather) but still manages not to engulf you in a thick cloud of tuberose. Its a clean scent and doesn't take on a musky, 'oily' smell when it dries down after a couple of hours. It stays mostly the same throughout which is great, except that the opening is rather green (soapy to me) but its lovely that way too. It is very expensive but I decided to take the plunge because a little goes a long way and I think its a scent that a woman of any age could pull off. I don't know if I would like this on a man since this is supposed to be unisex. But hey. Who knows. Unfortunately, I now want the CF hair/body mist which I think is a good compromise if you think 259 is too much to pay for a 50ml bottle but would like some CF in your life. A definite masterpiece if you're looking for something intensely fragrant yet uplifting and last a long time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Floral, strong & elegant This is the most divine perfume for those that like Tuberose. It's strong and heavy but wears lightly and changes subtly as you wear it. Romantic, elegant and works well for all seasons .
