Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful I'm not great at describing scents, or picking florals from my orientals. But I can tell you how I feel when I wear it- and en passant is classy without being too old. It's feminine without being too pretty. And its soft and subtle but still noticeable on the scarf you wore last week. This scent to me flies under the radar, it's almost as if the smell is just me without the sense of smelling like perfume. An everyday spray with a variety of sizes so you don't have to be without it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Lovely perfume with strident florals Is it possible to love a perfume you can't indulge in? Whether it be due to cost, availability or your body chemistry, sometimes it is. For me, this rain-soaked lilac perfume is one I wish I could wear, but can't. The almost jasmine-like lilac note of En Passant gives me a headache. And yet, each time I sample it I can't help but smell my wrist every 5 minutes. What is it that makes it so good? It smells of real lilac, on the bush, just after rain but before the inevitable winds that blow the flowers away. You can smell other flowers from the garden around the lilac bush, but only enough to remind you of how fresh the garden is. It's worth trying, but do sample first if jasmine fragrances give you headaches. The perfume moves through several stages, smelling at its warmest and loveliest after the first 45 mins, but the most like a lilac after 5 mins. Eventually after 4 hours it smells like a lilac-y flower garden and not quite as intoxicating (or interesting) as the first few hours. Do I love it? Yes. Oh how I wish I could wear it. I'll wait a few years and try it again....body chemistry can change!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from not The One for me I bought a 50ml bottle this on a whim a couple months back and truthfully, I really wish I didn't. The top notes are so fresh and smells like a rainy english garden, I think that's what enticed me the most, but after a while it dries down to something else that I can't entirely put my finger on but, to me, it smells like drowning and almost sickly, but not in a sweet way. I don't know how to really describe it, but it doesn't work for my skin at all, and every time I wear this, after about an hour, I'm overcome with a nasty headache. I now layer this with one direction's between us (lmao I know) which makes it a lot more bearable for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Watery lilac This is another great fragrance from Olivia Giacobetti, the same fragrance artist who created Philosykos which I also love. En Passant is a delightful watery lilac perfume, easy to wear and also very elegant - makes me feel relaxed and happy. This will be my next purchase from Mecca very soon.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Delightful flowery fragrance A lovely perfume, you can definitely get the lily of the valley coming through up front. All perfumes tend to make me feel good , including this one. You only need one or two spritz though, as it is quite strong.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from divine, distinctive and transcendent I adore this scent - it's floral without being too girly, rich without being cloying. a perfect compromise of typically male and typically female tastes. Wear it on day's (or nights) when you want to feel sexy but not predatory, feminine without being fluffy, grown-up without being stuffy.
