This hair oil has a very light smell which is nice, however it is not as thick as I wanted it to be because I use it just before I go shower so I wanted something that was alot more thick and hydrating.

I have very long fine hair, lots of it and heavily streaked. I was hoping this would be a replacement hair oil for the one I currently have that is no longer available. From the first pump I noticed it was very thick, and when it was applied to the ends and mid length it just felt tacky and not smooth at all (I only used 2 pumps). My hair took a long time to dry with this oil and by day two was a greasy mess. I tried a second time using only 2 pumps and blow dried, but again, greasy mess. Sorry Aveda, just not for me though I’m sure it would be great for people with medium to coarse hair.

I have bleach damaged hair and needed something moisturising. This oil is light, smells nice (but not too strong) and doesn’t look too greasy. It’s great to use as a treatment or to help style after a blow dry
